Causes and effects of Snoring



The vibration of nose and throat tissues emanating noise caused by blocked air passage while sleeping leads to snoring.

Common Causes:
1. Blocked nasal passage and breathing through the mouth.
2. Overweight.
3. Wrong sleeping posture.
4. Enlarged adenoids or tonsils.
5. Intake of caffeine & alcohol.
6. Excessive smoking.



Effects:
1. Affects supply of oxygen in right amounts to the body.
2. Can be a cause to chronic diseases like heart problem.
